Thank you for visiting our website. Our Church is open to visitors each weekday from 10am until 4pm. We would, however, remind visitors that we are a living church building where people do come to pray and reflect, and therefore ask that lectures from guides are not given in the church itself.
You are most welcome to our weekly celebration of the Eucharist, each Thursday at 12.45, or our regular Friday Lunchtime Organ Recital at 12.30.
We are privileged to be custodians of a building described by Nikolaus Pevsner as 'one of the 10 most important buildings in England' and as you view some photographs or read a little about the church I am sure you will see why so many visitors call this the finest of Wren's churches. Our recent history, of course, has seen us as the birthplace of the Samaritans, with my predecessor Chad Varah famously starting that great movement from our church.
