Welcome to St Stephen Walbrook
Many thanks for visiting our website. We are a diverse, inclusive and active community based at the church of St Stephen Walbrook in the heart of the City of London.
St Stephen Walbrook is a highly acclaimed church with a breath-taking interior and a wonderful acoustic. It is also the birthplace of Samaritans. We are committed to making St Stephen Walbrook a special place of sanctuary, inspiration and celebration for all who visit whether regularly, occasionally or for the first time.

The church is open throughout the week for visitors. Our principal service is Choral Eucharist at 12.45pm on Thursdays with traditional language, music performed by the choir and followed by a light lunch. Other services and musical recitals take place on other lunchtimes and some evenings during the week. We are privileged to benefit from wonderful musical partnerships including St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Walbrook Music Trust.
The church is also available for hire for a variety of events enabling new audiences to experience and be moved by its space, architecture and art.
I hope you will visit us soon.
Blessings and all good wishes
Revd Stephen Baxter
